| JA6 - A lead free alloy producing a bright silver cast.Suitable for giftware, goblets, etc. Great for finer jewellery like rings and badges as well as brooches and delicate buckles. Results in fine detailed casts for small scale figures etc. Casting range - 275°C - 330°C Composition Tin - 88-95% Antimony - 5-10% Copper - 0-2% JA12 - called Casting Pewter, although not a true pewter. Excellent casting alloy giving fine definition, high strength and polishes easily. Contains a small amount of lead. Casting range - 275°C - 330° C Composition Tin - Major Antimony - 0-10% Copper - 0-2% Cadmium - 0-5% Lead - 0-10% JA7 - Excellent low cost alloy when a relatively high weight is not a problem. Suitable for larger objects over 50mm wide and over 5mm thick. Casting range - 310°C - 360° C Composition Lead - Major Tin - 0-45% Antimony - 0-10% Cadmium - 0-5% Copper - 0-1% JA8 - Offers more ductility than some other jewellery alloys, and can be bent without breaking. It is a 55A hardness, and is suitable for all molds of models with slight undercuts where a high inherent rigidity of mold is required.
