Accelerator
Powder additive to be premixed with water before adding in small quantities to the mixed plasters. Measure 450gm of Aluminium Sulfate into 1 gallon/3.785ltrs of water and mix thoroughly. Label Plaster Accelerator. Add up to 10% of this premixed accelerator to the plaster slurry to achieve faster set up. Be careful with working times, as the accelerator will kick in quickly and reduce time to process the mixture into the intended molds. Can be useful when making case molds with the plasters, as the mixture will have less time to slump.Size: 24gm, 680gm
Acryl 60
When added to stone or plaster, Acryl 60 increases structural strength and hardness.

Dental Separator
Water based dental separator. Used in dental acrylic processes and for "floating off" multiple appliance sculptures when sculpting on plaster and white hydrocal.

Scrim
This is a hessian type of woven fabric which is designed to strengthen plasters by layering the fabric into the plaster slurry. 36"wide on a 200metre roll.

Shellac
Suitable as a sealer for plasters and gypsum cements. Comes in flakes to be mixed with Methylated Spirits to form a liquid. Prepare a small quantity in a screwtop jar to be used as required. Applied sparingly with a brush or cloth to seal the exposed surface of the plaster.
