Condensation Cured - Silicones
Ultrasil is a general purpose, fast set Silicone. It is a two component, tin catalysed RTV silicone rubber, designed as a 25 Shore A Soft grade material with high extensibility & mechanical strength.
Ultrasil has a Blue coloured catalyst to make processing easier by showing when the two components are thoroughly mixed.
|Viscosity (mPa s)||45 000|

ELASTOSIL® M RTV-2 Silicone Rubber
The flexible mould-making material for perfect copies.
With ELASTOSIL® M silicone rubbers,Wacker-Chemie offers a great variety of customised moulding solutions for the mould and tool making sectors.
ELASTOSIL® M includes a wide selection of addition-curing grades for moulds used in vacuum casting processes.
General purpose grade. Soft, high extensibility & mechanical strength.PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pourable, condensation-curing, two component silicone rubber that cures at room temperature and features:
• Good Flow
• Low Shore A Hardness (approx 25)
• High Tear Strength
• Great extensibility and elasticity
• Excellent long term stability of the mechanical properties of the cured rubber
• High resistance to casting resins, particularly polyester
Due to the excellent mechanical properties of the cured rubber as well as its high resistance to casting resin, ELASTOSIL® M4503 is especially suitable for reproducing models with pronounced undercuts in casting resins.
Other materials, such as wax and plaster, may be cast without any problems in molds made from M4503.Skin Molds.
With 5% wt Catalyst T35 - 90min Pot Life - 15-20Hr curing time.
|Viscosity (mPa s)||40 000|
|Hardness (Shore A)||25|
Size: 525gm, 1.05kg, 5.25kg
Soft Translucent Silicone
Very soft, high strength silicone. Designed for use in soft parts & animatronic skins. Can be pigmented & painted.
|Viscosity (mPa s)||25 000|
|Hardness (Shore A)||12|
Wacker M4470 - To order only
Suitable for Low Melt Alloys.
This is a Firm silicone, with high thermostability & thermal conductivity.
Care should be taken with handling, as this cured material can be brittle.
See M4670 for use with Alloys
|Consistency||Pourable Reddish Brown|
|Mix Ratio||100/3 - 100/4|
|Viscosity (mPa s)||10 000|
|Hardness (Shore A)||60|
Size: 1.03kg, 5.15kg
Breakable Glass Silicone
Low strength transparent silicone to simulate broken glass effects, giving the look of very sharp shards, while actually a soft product. Commonly used as an encapsulant. Also useful on PCBs as it can then be cut into to repair faulty connections.
|Viscosity (mPa s)||700|
|Hardness (Shore A)||30|
