 Silicone Pigments

This is a range of non-hazardous paste pigments specifically designed for colouring RTV silicones. Concentrated colours allow a choice of intensities. A maximum of 2% pigment should avoid conflict with mix ratio of material.

These pigments can be used to colour the Silicone Catalyst when preparing to mix the silicone compound, so that the correct amount of blending is done to mix catalyst and base thoroughly. Many Silicone bases are White, and come with a clear catalyst. By pigmenting the catalyst, more thorough mixing is necessary when adding to the base material, to get uniform colour and blend.

Coloured silicone may be desired when making the parts from Silicone, as Silicone parts are more difficult to paint.
